  3. Reduce Milk: Heat 1 liter milk with 2 tbsp sugar, simmering until it reduces to about half its original volume (approx. 500ml). Let cool to lukewarm.

  4. Egg Mixture: Whisk 3 eggs with 1 tablespoon vanilla essence until well combined.

  5. Combine: Gradually whisk the lukewarm reduced milk into the egg mixture.

  6. Strain: Strain the egg and milk mixture into the caramel-coated bowl.

  7. Steam: Cover the bowl tightly with foil. Steam in a large pot with boiling water (water should not touch the pudding bowl) for 25-30 minutes on medium heat.

  8. Chill: Remove the pudding, let it cool completely, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

  9. Release: Briefly dip the bottom of the chilled pudding bowl in warm water (30-40 seconds). Run a knife around the edges, then invert onto a serving plate.
