Jujutsu Kaisen isn’t leaving fans hanging: Season 3 just dropped its moody first trailer, confirming the anime’s return in January 2026—with Yuji and familiar faces ready to face their darkest challenges yet. The big headline? The new season kicks off with the Culling Game Arc, dropping viewers into a brutal battle royale that turns alliances—and the whole world—inside out. Crunchyroll keeps the simulcast torch burning, but that’s not all: for the first time, the hype gets a cinematic boost, with early worldwide theatrical screenings before the season even hits TV.

Premiered during the franchise’s fifth anniversary bash, the trailer sets a somber tone: Yuji, haunted by Shibuya’s chaos, faces blood-soaked regrets and a literal bloodbath ahead. The sneak peek highlights a dramatic duel—Yuji versus Yuta Okkotsu wielding his katana—plus cameos from Megumi, Maki, Choso, and more. And if that’s not enough to get hearts pounding, theatrical “Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution” events will let fans preview the first two Culling Game episodes paired with a Shibuya Arc recap—think Demon Slayer’s recent movie strategy, now with a twist of Cursed Energy.

The release roadmap feels as ambitious as the animation: early screenings start in Japan on November 7, with a North American debut December 5. The rest of the world’s dates are under wraps, but if you’re in India or Southeast Asia, the series drops on Crunchyroll and Netflix in most languages. Creative duties stay tight with Season 2’s MAPPA super-team, so expect the same mix of kinetic sakuga and emotional gut-punches—just cranked to new, arena-sized stakes…
